About the Artist

Welcome, my name is Michelle, I live in England, UK with my husband, two sons and our cute dog. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by the beauty of lush green English countryside, with a garden that attracts a variety of birds, that bring me inspiration.

I often take pleasure in walks, exploring nearby rivers, lakes and a canal, where I can observe and capture photos of a wide range of birds in their natural environment.

My Artistic Journey

My passion for art has been a constant presence since childhood, where I often sought quiet spaces to express myself through both art and writing. As I entered adulthood, the demands of daily life led to my art taking a backseat. However, I always found moments to reconnect with my creativity, often losing myself in occasional drawings whenever the opportunity arose.

Years after, during 2020 and 2021 I made the decision to pick up where I left off. I gave myself permission to find and pursue the art I love, taking up art tutorials, challenges and workshops. I improved and so did my confidence. It became clear that art has always been a part of me. It brings me joy and excitement.

As an artist, I specialise in wildlife and pet portraits. I love capturing the character and vibrant colours of the subjects I paint, by showing their softness and delicate details. Watercolours give me the opportunity to create a delicate fine art piece.
